Every voice deserves to be heard.

But there have been more than 400 anti-voter bills introduced in 48 states that have unfairly impacted a wide range of communities resulting in a fractured democracy that doesn’t fully represent the desires of the people.

About the project

Inspired by online stories collected from #wevotewecount of first-hand experiences of voter suppression, we aim to create an educational narrative that highlights both deliberate and less noticeable strategies that local governments employ to make the voting process frustratingly difficult.

We won a grant from Meta through their last Oculus Launch Pad cohort in 2022 to produce this working prototype.
